Watch For Signs of Divine Presence
Often there are reasons for things that we just don’t know at the time. At other times, we become aware. Such an experience occurred for me this week. In preparation for Father’s Day this Sunday, our family has been shopping and gathering gifts for the makeover in progress of my husband’s home office and “break room,” which is transforming from one of the kids’ old adjoining bedrooms. I can’t say more about it right now because my husband is an avid reader of this newsletter.
Meanwhile, in between my morning and afternoon clients, I had “planned” (you know how we plan and God laughs) to go to a home furnishings store for the final accessory run before Father’s Day. I’ve only recently discovered that store and figured I’d sneak out lunch time to get it done. One thing after another delayed me until I didn’t have time to go. I was frustrated and went out on the deck to breathe and regroup.
Our daughters were over and one came out to give me a hug. Out of nowhere, a small feather, an angel’s feather for sure, floated down and landed on my ankle. I told her that it was an angel’s feather, sent to let me know that they were near. After she went inside, the feather peeled itself off my ankle and floated through the bars of the railing and upward.
Just prior to going into session with my clients, I received a news alert that an armed gunman had barricaded himself in the very store, at the very time I had intended to go. The incident was both startling and calming, as it was shocking but I felt protected by the angels. It was especially nice that they had sent the feather as their calling card.
So trust that when things don’t go as planned that maybe it’s for a very important reason.
Stay tuned for angelic messages and always stay enchanted!
Grateful hugs.
