Time To Scan Your Brain, Gut, and Soul!

How are you…really?

Take inventory.

Scan your body, mind, spirit and emotions.

If you’re like most people, your levels of stress, anxiety, fear and worry about the present and future are magnified.

I just completed a Continuing Education course with a renowned Emeritus Professor of Anatomy and Neurobiology at Boston University School of Medicine. He stated that in a recent survey, the number one stressor at the top of today’s charts lists, “Our Nation’s future,” followed by worries over work and money.

Health during a pandemic didn’t make the cut? That surprised me.

Regardless of whether or not you got the shot, mindful good health, in my opinion, needs to remain at top of mind. Our natural, God-given warrior systems need to be nourished and protected all of the time. Battles are rarely planned. You must feed your body healthy foods that don’t tax or inflame it, regularly detoxify it, and keep your metabolism tuned. Let your body work, play, and rest.

Beyond the care of your sacred body, ask questions with your precious mind. Question everything and dig deeply for the answers. A force to be reckoned with, rarely mentioned these days, is your common sense. Are you using it? Things have to make sense. If they don’t, then find another way.

Your dear soul has a powerful purpose that brought you here. Have you explored what that is?

And pay attention to how you feel, your “gut” response. According to Johns Hopkins, scientists are recognizing what they’re calling a “brain in your gut,” that is “revolutionizing medicine's understanding of the links between digestion, mood, health and even the way you think.” It’s called the ENS, enteric nervous system.

I believe that we are loving, Divine, peace-seeking individuals. Do your thoughts, words and behaviors align with that?

Be healthy. Stay enchanted.
