Sharing the Love

Even during these dark and unsettling times, we have a miracle to celebrate!

Last night, on the eve of the 100th anniversary of my own mother’s birth, our fourth grandchild arrived in the world.

He has a ton of hair and weighs in at a whopping 8 lbs. 14.7 ounces and is 21.5 inches long. He’s got sideburns and muscles and is a bundle of love.

I think about what I want to teach him about the world. It is that life can be challenging but we must keep the perspective that it’s an enchanted journey and be in search of beauty, joy, love, and kindness. I want him to embrace and enjoy the adventure, while doing his part to help heal the world. May he be blessed with good health, happiness, and receive prosperity from his gifts, granted to him to share with the universe to make it a better place. May he also delight in his work and the company of family, friends, and loved ones, furry and otherwise.

What would you want him to know?

Sending love to all.
