Can You Be a Bringer of Light?
Dear Enchanted One,
It’s Chanukah! Now I know you may not celebrate Chanukah, which is the Festival of Lights, but the world needs your light to shine brightly in the darkness just the same.
It’s believed that when light was created, the Creator hid it and it has become our job to find it. When one candle lights another, the light increases. For those of us who light menorahs in this dark winter holiday, we place them in windows or in front of mirrors so the light is reflected and doubled.
I invite you to be a bringer of light this week. Smile at someone with your eyes as they are visible above your mask. Speak kindly. Mindfully extend your beautiful heart light to someone else and watch the light seep through the cracks of darkness.
Two weeks from today is Christmas. Let’s build a connecting bridge of light!
Stay enchanted.
