A Hot Chocolate Bar to Warm You in the Winter!
I am nearly wrung out from this challenging Mercury Retrograde that goes direct on Jan. 18th. I hope you didn’t need to fly anywhere this week and I’m sure you’ve noticed that there have been snafus every other minute with technology and communications.
As if this were not enough, today is Friday the 13th! Really???
I’ll share with you one of the things I’ve done to soothe my soul through it all. I left my Hot Chocolate bar up after Chanukah! The first night of Chanukah we set up a Hot Chocolate bar and a latke bar with lots of yummy toppings. The Hot Chocolate bar stayed up for the cold eight nights.
It was so much fun, though, I decided to keep it set up all winter so that anyone coming over could have a nice, hot mug of cocoa. I use the Lakanto Drinking Chocolate which is KETO-friendly, Vegan, has 1 net carb, 1 billion probiotics per serving, zero sugar, and is sweetened with monk fruit.
I add in some steamed unsweetened vanilla almond milk, a few drops of chocolate Stevia and I’m a happy camper. For the others, I set out tiny mugs of Lakanto chocolate chips, (also sweetened with monk fruit) crushed peppermints to stir into their cocoa, and mini marshmallows. There are also shakers filled with powdered sugar, cinnamon, and ground chocolate.
I took away the menorahs and gift bags, etc. but it’s so welcoming to walk into the kitchen and see it all waiting for us to enjoy. Maybe for Valentine’s Day or just Friday the 13th, you can set up a Hot Chocolate bar or a Tea & Coffee bar for your family and friends to enjoy. It’s quite enchanting.
Stay enchanted.
