Life is a journey.
Make it enchanting
I’m a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Ph.D. in Energy Medicine, Author, Speaker, Mixed Media Artist, and Officiant.
What do all of these paths have in common?
A discovery of life as the enchanted journey it’s intended to be.
Does that mean that life is easy? No.
It means that we feel, learn, stretch, grow, discover ourselves and others, while mindfully weaving enchantment into every crack in the world around us.
As we’re all re-envisioning our lives at this time, we have the chance to do life differently.
We can reassess our structures of work and play, family time vs. introspective time. The journey forward is best traveled in the spirit of courage and gratitude. I’m here to help you nourish your mind, body, and soul along the way.
Education
I graduated Summa cum laude with a Ph.D. in Energy Medicine from Greenwich University, Australia, while attending a sister University in the United States. I earned a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Psychology from California State University at Northridge, as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Theatre from the University of Miami, in Florida. My Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre is from Florida International University, in Miami, Florida.
Art
Making art stirs my soul.
What joy there is in creating something special for someone. The endless possibilities of combining acrylics, watercolor paints, Prismacolor pencils, stencils, stamps, ephemera, paper, beads, buttons, and glitter inspire my mixed-media art.
I have an affinity for whimsical women’s faces, be they divine or earthly, and for creating Judaic art that celebrates the Shekinah, or Divine Feminine.
Therapy
Life can be quite challenging at times but you’re creative, strong and more powerful than you think! What if you could see crises in health, relationships or career as opportunities to transform your life?
These are extraordinary times in which we’re living. Beyond traditional talk therapy, is the use of imagination to break through old patterns and chart a new course. Care of the soul has never been more important.
Books
I love being a wordsmith.
Words have the power to evoke imagery, emotion, chronicle events, and foster connection between the heart of the reader and life’s experiences.
I’m a published author in the genres of non-fiction, self-help, contemporary women’s fiction, poetry, and prose.
For nearly 20 years I wrote the weekly Enchanted Newsletter and Enchanted Blog, and the New Moon Meditations column I wrote for the Atlanta Jewish Times for 10 years.
